for the last several years I have been working on this book . It has really been a labour of love as it allows me to write in my favorite genera of high sword and sorcery fantasy . The book started several years ago when a contest for 500 diollars requested a new piece of fiction over 5000 words for there new years contest . I started a short story titeled coming of age , which was a story about a mage learning the art of the arcane from his master . In the story I used a triarchy of gods which soon caught my creative intreast . Since then I have been writing more and more about these gods and there world , and the short story already has over 700 pages (hand writin ) .
I have been using the same triarchey of gods for most of my other works as the world of these gods seems everexpanding . I named the gods using a rhyme methoid as they seem to be brothers , and while the system is primarrily a triarchy , there are many demi gods , and a mysteries fourth diety that has dissaperaed long before the story takes place .
The storys take place primarrily around two main charictors , Darkhawk , an aged magus working for the dietys of neutrality and good , and Christipher Azurerathe An apprentice mage who was abbanded at a very young age and addopted by Dark . Early within the book , they are joined by several eccentric charictors , including a psyonic entity ( magics ecuivilent of a robot ) from a parralel dimension , and an eccentric trinket mage , who uses items aqquired on varios quests to summon elemental qualities , and demonic entities .
the main villan of the book is the god of terror himself , as the lesser of the three gods he has enlisted the aid of countless lesser or demi gods to assist him . This makes him a very troublsome opponent as it allows him to form a vertiual shield of allies to thwart his oppresers .
Allonge with the warriors of light , I have been working on a side story in the same world . This story revolves around two of the demi gods , Gia and Karmine . It is titeled magi war Hopefully I will be posting the story here in these webpages soon .
this story started almost 10 years ago , when during a school assingment I had the idea of a creature biologiclly created by mixing the attributes of humans , and varios other animals to create a perfect mindless killing machine . Of course since I seem to have an anti-huminist streack about me , I decided that one of the scientests would ensure the progect was faulty , and eventually the creatures regain there humanic minds , and rebeal against there "programmers" .
The story was first "published " in an inter school art annual intiteled the howl which was in actuality only the first three pages of the story and only covered a small ampilling of what I had writin in the piece .
This was a short story that I wrote about four years ago , which revolved around a group of mercinarys that travelled across a vast sea to attempt to mine a large deposite of jems from a remote island . When they arrived however , they found that the native people had been decivied into building energy weapons from the crystals by a false idol god . The mercinary's and islanders ended up engeged in an epic battle which ended in most of both party's being destroyed .
